Mattress Removal
in Burr Ridge
Old mattress taking up half the guest suite? Onit hauls away mattresses and box springs of every size across Burr Ridge: sanitary handling, proper recycling, and no wrestling it down a formal staircase yourself.
How to Get Rid of a Mattress in Burr Ridge
A mattress is one of the most awkward things to throw out. It's heavy, floppy, too big for the car, and no municipal pickup will take it without a special sticker and a scheduled bulk day, if they'll take it at all. Meanwhile it's leaning against the wall in a guest suite or blocking a finished lower level. Onit Junk Removal handles it: we come to you, carry it out, and haul it away the same day you call.
We're a local crew based just minutes from Burr Ridge in Plainfield, so we know the village's larger custom homes and estates near Burr Ridge Village Center. Point us to the mattress, and we handle the rest: down a formal staircase, out of a primary suite, or from a guest bedroom. No stickers, no waiting for bulk day, no dragging it anywhere yourself.
Every Size — Mattresses & Box Springs
Twin & Twin XL
Kids' rooms, guest suites, and bunk-room beds cleared out fast.
Full & Queen
The most common upgrade — old set gone the day the new one arrives.
King & Cal King
Bulky pillow-tops and heavy primary-suite sets carried out by two crew members.
Box Springs & Foundations
Wood-frame box springs and split foundations removed alongside the mattress.
Memory Foam & Hybrid
Dense foam and hybrid mattresses that don't fit a standard bin.
Guest & Bunk Mattresses
Smaller mattresses and the bed frames that go with them.
Sanitary Handling & Responsible Recycling
Mattresses aren't the most pleasant thing to move, and we treat them accordingly. Our crew wraps and handles each one carefully so nothing rubs against your walls, carpet, or doorframes on the way out. Older or soiled mattresses are bagged before they ever leave the room.
Whenever a mattress is in decent enough shape, we route it for recycling instead of the landfill. A single mattress contains steel springs, foam, and wood that can be broken down and reused, and Burr Ridge's estate turnover and downsizing keeps us picking up a steady stream of them. When recycling isn't an option, we dispose of it properly through licensed facilities — never dumped or left on a curb.
