That is normal and it is not a problem. Point at it while the crew is there. They will tell you what it adds, if anything, and you decide on the spot. Plenty of jobs end with a few extra things going in the truck at no change to the price because the load had room.

Yes we will come for one item, and it happens every day. One couch, one mattress, one treadmill, one old TV. There is a minimum charge that covers the truck, the crew, and the disposal fee, so very small jobs all land around the same price. We will tell you that number before you book.

Yes, and we do a lot of them. We drain it, disconnect the power and plumbing, cut it down into sections if it will not come out whole, and haul every piece away. You do not need to prep it or take the cover off first. Decks, patios, and landscaping get protected on the way out.

Yes. Uprights, spinets, and baby grands. A piano is heavy and awkward rather than impossible, and the trick is enough people, the right straps and dollies, and padding on the door frames and floors. We also move pianos from one spot to another instead of hauling them off, if that is what you need.

Electronics are worth calling about specifically because in Illinois televisions, monitors, computers, and printers are banned from landfills, which is why your garbage service leaves them at the curb. We take them to an approved electronics recycler instead. Old tube TVs and giant rear-projection sets are welcome.

Yes, demolition and haul away in one trip. We take down the structure, pull the hardware, rake the site, and leave with all of it, including concrete footings where we can get them out. You come home to grass and dirt instead of a pile.

Hazardous material: paint and solvents, chemicals and pesticides, motor oil and fuel, propane tanks, asbestos, ammunition, and medical or biohazard waste. Those need a household hazardous waste site. Everything else is fair game, and if you are unsure about one item just ask before we come out.

Then it comes apart. Sleeper sofas, sectionals, oversized recliners, armoires, pool tables, and hot tubs regularly have to be broken down to get out of a house, and the crew carries the tools to do it. We are not going to force something through a door frame and hope.

We work to make sure they do not. Door frames and banisters get padded, floors get protected, and big pieces get wrapped before they move. A mattress is roughly 80 to 90 percent recyclable by weight, and a fridge is mostly steel. The landfill is the last stop for what nobody can use, not the first stop for everything.

Yes. We drop off dump trailers rather than the big steel roll-off bins, roughly 5 to 15 cubic yards depending on the job, at a flat upfront price with delivery and pickup included. They sit on rubber tires and a ramp, so they are far easier on a driveway than a steel bin dragged off a truck.

Rent the trailer when you want to fill it at your own pace over days, when it is a renovation or a roof tear-off with debris coming out steadily, or when the stuff is already outside and easy to reach. Have the crew do it when the work is the problem rather than the container: heavy furniture, a basement full of boxes, stairs, a deadline, or a job you simply do not want to spend your weekend on. Ours is far gentler than a roll-off. Steel roll-off bins get dragged and dropped on rollers, which is what cracks and gouges driveways. Our trailers roll in on tires and we set boards down where it makes sense. That is the main reason we run trailers instead.
