Post-Construction Cleanup
In Homer Glen
The build is finished. We clear out the leftover lumber, drywall, and packaging so the crew hands over a clean site instead of a debris pile.
Debris gone, site ready to hand over
A finished remodel usually leaves a pile the finish carpenters step around: cutoffs, torn-out cabinets, flooring scrap, and a mountain of cardboard. We load all of it so your last day on the job is handing over a clean room, not making a dump run. You point, our crew lifts and carries, and nothing stays behind. The price is set by how much space the load takes in the trailer, and the number we quote is the number you pay.
Homer Glen's weekly service through the curbside program is generous on household trash, but the garbage brochure caps remodeling debris at about two cubic yards and one bulk item a week. A gut kitchen or a basement build passes that fast, and the toter will not take the overflow. We haul the whole load out at once to a licensed construction-and-demolition facility, so you are not stretching a full remodel across a month of pickups. We reach Homer Glen off 159th Street and I-355, same-day when the schedule allows.
What we haul after the build
Framing lumber and cutoffs
Short ends, bent studs, and the offcut pile from framing and trim, loaded by hand.
Drywall and plaster scrap
Busted sheets, corner-bead strips, and the dust-caked offcuts a remodel leaves in the corner.
Old flooring and tile
Torn-up laminate, carpet and pad, and broken tile from the floor you just replaced.
Cabinets and fixtures
The dated vanity, the old cabinets, and the fixtures that came out when the new ones went in.
Packaging and pallets
Cardboard, foam, shrink wrap, and the pallets your materials showed up on.
General jobsite debris
Buckets, empty caulk tubes, broken trim, and the loose debris swept into a pile.
How a cleanup goes
Text or send photos of what the build left behind and we will quote a flat price by the load. On the day, we back in, carry it all out ourselves, and sweep the area we worked. We are insured and family-run, so it is the same crew start to finish. Usable cabinets and fixtures get donated when they can be, and metal and cardboard go to recycling.
