Swing Set & Trampoline Removal
in Darien
A bolted playset or anchored trampoline is more than a weekend fight. We take it apart, dig out the anchors and haul the whole thing away.
Taking it apart is the whole job
A swing set or trampoline is engineered to hold up to years of kids, so pulling one out fights back every step. Bolts seize, springs stay loaded, and the legs are often cemented down. We cover Darien off I-55 and Cass Avenue, and we arrive with the crew and tools to break the set down to pieces we can carry out. You stay hands-off start to finish.
In Darien every bulk item has to be scheduled and paid for in advance and set out by 6 a.m. on your trash day, with furniture-sized pieces running a per-item fee. A full swing set or trampoline is not one tidy furniture-sized item, especially once concrete footings are involved. We take care of the disassembly and the haul in one trip, from the neighborhoods near Hinswood to the blocks along 75th Street.
What we take down and haul
Metal swing sets
Steel A-frames with chains and a slide, unbolted and cut where rust has set, then loaded.
Wood playsets
Cedar forts with towers, slides and climbing walls dismantled beam by beam.
Trampolines
Springs released under control, frame folded, net and poles bagged for the haul.
Concrete footings
Anchored legs dug out and lifted so no footing stays buried in the lawn.
Monkey bars
Standalone steel climbers and dome bars, heavy and awkward, loaded by our crew.
Slides and playhouses
Molded plastic slides, cottages and sandbox frames the cart cannot handle.
How it works in Darien
Text a photo and we quote a flat price by the load, not by the hour. On the day our crew takes the set apart in the yard, digs out the anchors and loads every board and bar. We rake the spot before we leave so it looks clean. Playsets still good for another family get donated, and the metal goes to a recycler instead of a landfill.
- Flat load price, quoted up front
- Nothing added after we finish
- Our crew does all the disassembly
- Concrete-set legs dug out and hauled
- Spot raked clean afterward
- Insured and family-run, not a franchise
