Storage Unit Cleanout
In Darien
Point out what you want kept and we haul out the rest the same visit, then sweep the unit so you can return the keys.
Clear the unit in one trip
A storage unit often holds a whole chapter you have already closed, the furniture from an old place or the boxes from a move you finished months ago. Meanwhile the rent keeps going out. We empty the full unit in one visit. You meet us at the facility, keep aside anything you want, and we load out the rest, sweep the floor, and leave you ready to hand the keys to the office.
Darien sits along Cass Avenue near I-55 and the Waterfall Glen forest preserve, with storage spread along the commercial strips. The town's hauler handles trash here but charges to haul bulk, ten dollars a furniture piece and forty-five to sixty-five dollars per appliance, all scheduled and paid ahead. The city runs one free bulk pickup a year in spring, one per household. A full unit would mean stacking item fees or waiting for that single yearly slot, so most people have us take it all at once.
What comes out of a Darien unit
Sofas and cabinets
Couches, cabinets and dressers carried out whole. We bring the straps and handle the stairs.
Mattress sets
Mattresses and box springs loaded fast, with the usable ones steered to donation.
Boxes and totes
Stacks of sealed boxes and bins that never got unpacked, cleared in one sweep.
Appliances
Refrigerators, washers and dryers from the unit, hauled out and recycled where we can.
Exercise equipment
Treadmills, weight benches and bikes, heavy and awkward, all handled by our crew.
Odds and ends
Lamps, old rugs and the back-corner pile all go with no sorting from you.
How we clear a Darien unit
Send a photo or the unit size and we quote a flat price by the load, not by the hour. We meet you at the facility on your schedule, you set aside what you keep, and the rest goes straight on the truck. Our crew does all the lifting and carrying, then sweeps the space. You pay the quoted price with nothing added later.
- You keep access and rights; we never cut a lock
- All lifting and loading handled by us
- Flat price by the load, quoted up front
- Reached from Plainfield via I-55 and Cass Avenue
- Usable items donated, metal and cardboard recycled
- Unit swept for the handover

Questions
Often same-day or next-day when the schedule allows. Darien is a short run from Plainfield on I-55, so send a photo to (815) 240-0735 for a time and a load price.
No. You need access and the right to empty the unit, so arrange a key or a cut with the facility, and we take care of the inside.
Darien's curbside service charges per item, ten dollars a furniture piece and forty-five to sixty-five dollars an appliance, all scheduled ahead, and the free city pickup runs only once a year. A full unit would stack up fees, so one trip is simpler.
Those carry a forty-five to sixty-five dollar charge each at the curb. We just haul the fridges and washers out with the rest and recycle them where we can.
Besides Darien we cover Willowbrook, Burr Ridge, Westmont and Downers Grove, all close for our crew.
