We start by stripping the felt and unbolting the rails, then lift the slate slabs off one at a time and stack them flat. Once the bed is clear, the frame and legs come apart into pieces that two people can carry out without forcing them through the door. We pad the door frames and mind the stairs the whole way. You get one price for the load up front, and it holds through the job with no hourly clock.
