On the day we remove the felt and rails, take the slate off in slabs, and break the frame and legs down, so each piece moves at a controlled weight. The slate rides up the stairs with enough hands on every slab, and the frame loads in the same trip. You pay the quoted price, by the load, with nothing added afterward.
