Piano Removal
in Palos Heights
A piano is no job for the curb or a couple of friends. We bring the crew, carry it out whole, and keep your floors clean.
Piano Removal in Palos Heights
The hardest part of owning a piano is getting rid of one. The weight runs into the hundreds, the shape resists every grip, and stairs turn it from hard into dangerous. Our Palos Heights crew brings the equipment and the people to handle all of it, and we keep the load steady from the room to the truck. You will not lift or steer any of it.
Residential pickup here is built around weekly carts and a branch chipper service, not heavy household items, so a piano is well outside anything the curb program takes. It is a specialty haul. We reach Palos Heights off Harlem Avenue and 127th Street near Lake Katherine, cover the area through Palos Park and Orland Park, and often come same day when there is room.
Pianos and Organs We Haul in Palos Heights
Upright Pianos
The upright is the standard lift, and we bring it out past corners without touching the walls.
Baby Grand and Grand Pianos
Legs, lyre and lid come off, the case gets padded, and the body rides out on equipment made for the weight.
Console and Spinet Pianos
These shorter uprights still take two, and they are gone in one trip.
Organs
Church, pump and console organs carry real cabinet weight, and we take the whole thing.
Player Pianos
The player action adds pounds, so we move the piano as a single piece.
Benches and Extras
The bench, lamp and sheet music that sat with it leave on the same load.
How Piano Removal Works
Text a photo with the make and where the piano stands, and we price the full job by the load before we arrive. On the day we study the path, protect floors and corners, and strap the piano down before it moves an inch. The quote is the price you pay, with nothing added at the end. Playable pianos we offer for donation, and the rest we strip for metal and wood recycling.
- All the lifting is ours
- Padded floors and protected doorframes
- One flat price, set by the load
- The quote stands, nothing added
- Insured crew, proof available on request
- Good pianos passed on for donation
