Piano Removal
in Joliet
From the quote to the empty corner, we take the whole piano job. We cover Joliet and do the lift, the carry and the haul-off.
The whole job, start to finish
A piano removal is more than a lift. It is sizing up the path, protecting the floors, getting the weight down the stairs, breaking the piano down if a doorway demands it, and then actually hauling and disposing of it. Most people only picture the first part. Our crew handles all of it so your only job is telling us where the piano is and where the door is.
Joliet's curbside service collects bulk items only by request and keeps construction and oversized pieces out of the regular cart, so a piano needs a dedicated removal. A Will County river city along I-80 and I-55 where the Des Plaines River cuts through downtown, Joliet is close in for us. Call early and same-day pickup is often open.
What we move out
Upright pianos
The standard wall upright. Strapped to a dolly and walked out over a padded route.
Baby grand pianos
Legs and lid off, body low on a skid, parts out behind it, all onto our truck.
Console and spinet pianos
Short cabinets, still a serious lift. We take the weight and the turns.
Player pianos
The mechanism adds pounds. We plan the carry around it before we start.
Organs
Console and reed organs come apart where it helps and leave in pieces.
Stairs and doorways
Basement steps and narrow doors are ours to manage, padded and planned first.
How the removal works
Text a photo and tell us the piano type, the floor, and the stairs in the way. We quote the full job at a flat price and hold it. On pickup day the crew pads the route, straps the piano onto dollies, and carries it out while protecting your floors and walls, then hauls it off. Playable pianos we try to donate and the rest we recycle what we can.
- We handle every step
- Route padded before the lift
- Flat price, no hourly clock
- Photo quote by text
