Piano Removal
in Glendale Heights
Even a small spinet turns into a wrestling match in a tight hallway. We cover Glendale Heights and make those turns our problem.
Tight turns and small rooms, no problem
People assume a spinet or console will be easy because it is short, then it jams in the first doorway. Height has little to do with it, the weight is still there and the case is still clumsy. Our crew measures the path, pads the corners, and pivots the piano through on dollies instead of muscling it. Nothing gets forced and nothing gets scratched.
Glendale Heights' curbside service will not remove items over 50 pounds unless the hauler is notified ahead, which leaves a piano needing a real service. A DuPage town split for pickup by Bloomingdale Road along North Avenue and Army Trail Road, it is a short run for us. Call early and same-day pickup is often open.
Pianos we handle
Spinet pianos
The short apartment-style piano that still weighs plenty. We pivot it through tight doorways on dollies.
Console pianos
A bit taller, same clumsy weight. We handle the carry and guard the trim.
Upright pianos
The full-size upright. Strapped to a dolly and walked out a cleared, padded route.
Baby grand pianos
Legs and lid off, body low on a skid, parts out with it onto our truck.
Organs
Console and reed organs come apart where it helps and leave in pieces.
Doorways and halls
Narrow turns and small rooms are built into our plan before anything moves.
How we do it
Send a photo and tell us the piano type, the floor, and the doorways or stairs in the way. We quote the full job flat and keep the price. The crew pads the route, straps the piano onto dollies, and eases it out through the tight spots while protecting your walls and floors. Playable pianos we try to donate and the rest gets recycled.
- Crew handles the whole move
- Corners padded before we pivot
- Flat price, nothing added later
- Photo quote by text
- Insured, family-run
- Donate what plays, recycle the rest
