in Lombard
Old mattresses and box springs carried out of your Lombard home cleanly, from a single bed to the whole house.
Mattress Removal in Lombard, IL
An old mattress is one of the most awkward things to get rid of. It is floppy, heavy, and hard to fit in a car, and it does not belong at the curb. Onit hauls mattresses and box springs from Lombard homes so you do not have to deal with it.
We handle them cleanly, keeping a used mattress off your floors and out of your car on the way out. Mattresses are also highly recyclable, so we route them to mattress recycling where possible instead of the landfill.
Whether it is one guest-room mattress in a bungalow near Lombard Common or every bed in a house you are turning over, we take one or many in the same visit. No size job is too small or too big.
Lombard collects a mattress on your weekly day with a refuse sticker on it, and a second sticker if it runs over 50 pounds, which an older mattress often does. A box spring doubles that, and all of it still has to reach the curb. We cover Lombard near Main Street and the Prairie Path, bring the muscle, carry the set out, and recycle what we can.
What We Handle in Lombard
Single mattress pickup
One old mattress gone without you strapping it to the roof of the car.
Mattress and box spring sets
The full set removed together, including bulky older box springs.
All sizes
Twin, full, queen, king, and California king, from any bedroom in the house.
Whole-house removal
Every bed cleared at once for a move-out or a full furniture refresh.
Upstairs and basement beds
Mattresses carried down from second-floor bedrooms or up from finished basements.
Adjustable and platform bases
Heavy adjustable frames and platform bases removed along with the mattress.
Clean, sanitary handling
A used mattress can be grimy, and nobody wants it dragged across their floors. We handle it carefully on the way out so your home stays clean.
Our crew does the carrying, so you are not wrestling a floppy king mattress down a staircase by yourself.
Recycled where possible
Mattresses are full of steel, foam, and fiber that can be recycled. We route them to mattress recycling when we can instead of the dump.
That keeps a bulky, hard-to-crush item out of the landfill and puts its materials back to use.
