Mattress Removal
in Glen Ellyn
Old mattresses and box springs carried out of your Glen Ellyn home and sent for recycling.
Mattress Removal in Glen Ellyn, IL
A used mattress is one of the most awkward things to get rid of. It does not fit in a car, it is illegal to just dump, and it flops around when you try to carry it alone. Onit takes mattresses and box springs out of Glen Ellyn homes the easy way.
We handle everything from a single guest room mattress to every bed in a house you are clearing out. The crew wraps and carries the mattress so it stays sanitary on the way out, and we route mattresses to recycling wherever we can.
Whether you are upgrading a primary bedroom, clearing kids' rooms as they head off from Glenbard West, or emptying a home entirely, we take the beds off your hands without you dragging them to the curb.
Glen Ellyn collects large items on the Monday route with a refuse sticker on each piece, one per item under 50 pounds, and it all has to be curbside by 6 a.m. A mattress and box spring are two stickers and two trips out to the street. We serve Glen Ellyn near Roosevelt Road and Lake Ellyn, do the lifting for you, carry the set out, and recycle what we can.
What We Handle in Glen Ellyn
Mattresses of any size
Twin through king, memory foam, pillow top, and older spring mattresses all removed.
Box springs and frames
The box spring, foundation, and metal or wood frame taken along with the mattress.
Single item pickup
Just one mattress to lose? We handle single item jobs, not only big loads.
Whole house of beds
Clearing a full home or rental, we take every mattress and frame in one visit.
Sanitary handling
We wrap and carry mattresses so they stay clean coming through your home.
Mattress recycling
Mattresses are routed to recycling where the materials can be broken down and reused.
One mattress or the whole house
Some calls are a single old mattress after a new one is delivered. Others are every bed in a house being cleared. We handle both without making you feel like a smaller load is not worth it.
Either way, the crew carries the mattress and box spring out from wherever the bed is, including upstairs rooms, and loads them for you.
Kept sanitary and recycled
Nobody wants a used mattress dragged across their floors. We handle each one so it stays clean on the way out and does not shed on your hallway.
From there, mattresses go to recycling when possible, where the foam, fabric, and springs can be separated and put back to use instead of filling a landfill.
