Hoarding Cleanouts
in Palos Heights
Onit handles hoarding cleanouts in Palos Heights quietly and with care, working at a pace that respects the household.
Hoarding Cleanouts in Palos Heights, IL
A home that filled up over years does not clear out overnight, and it should never come with a lecture. These situations are personal, and the family or resident deserves patience, not judgment.
Onit Junk Removal approaches every hoarding cleanout with care. We sort carefully as we go, setting aside valuables, paperwork, photos, and anything that matters, and we move at a pace the household is comfortable with. Then we clear the heavy volume, room by room, until the space is usable again.
We serve Palos Heights households discreetly, whether it is a longtime ranch home off Navajo Hills or a split-level near Ridgeland Avenue. Unmarked work when you want it, and we keep the details between us.
Letting go of a lifetime of things rarely fits inside a weekly trash route. Curbside here runs on set days with branch chipping and yard waste handled separately, and large-item rules left to the hauler, which leaves a crowded home far behind. We take the whole job on with patience and no judgment. Our crew keeps what matters to you apart from the trash, sends usable goods to donation, and hauls the rest load after load, from Plainfield.
What We Handle in Palos Heights
Careful sorting
We check for cash, jewelry, documents, and keepsakes before anything is loaded, and we set those aside for you.
Discreet arrivals
We can keep the work low-key so neighbors are not watching a long, obvious cleanout unfold.
Heavy volume
Floor-to-ceiling accumulation is normal for us. We bring the crew and the truck to handle real quantity.
Whole-home cleanouts
Kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, basement, and garage, all cleared in a coordinated effort.
Family coordination
We work with adult children, caretakers, and social workers when a loved one needs support through the process.
Respectful pace
No rushing and no pressure. We move as the household is ready and check in along the way.
No judgment, start to finish
People put off these cleanouts because they expect to feel embarrassed. Our crew does not react and does not comment. We treat the home and the person the same way we would want our own family treated.
That calm approach makes a hard day easier. You are dealing with enough already, and the last thing you need is a crew making it worse.
We find what matters before it is gone
In a full home, important things hide inside the junk. An envelope of cash, a wedding ring, old tax records, and family photos can all be buried under everyday items.
We sort slowly and deliberately so those things surface and come back to you. Nothing of value leaves the property without your say-so.

Questions
It comes down to volume and how much sorting the job needs. We assess the home in person, walk through what matters to you, and give one quote before any work starts. There are no hidden add-ons once we agree on the price.
Yes. Discretion is a big part of how we work. We can arrive without fanfare and keep the loading low-key so the whole street is not watching. What happens at the home stays between you and our crew.
We expect that and plan for it. We sort carefully and set aside cash, jewelry, documents, and photos as we find them. Nothing that looks important gets tossed without checking with you first.
We serve every part of Palos Heights and the nearby suburbs, from Harlem Avenue to the streets around Lake Katherine Nature Center. We can usually schedule within a few days, and larger cleanouts get spread across the days that work best for the household.
Absolutely. We coordinate by phone and photos, keep you updated as we go, and can work alongside a local relative or caretaker on site. You do not have to be in the room for us to get it done right.
