Estate Cleanouts
in Palos Park
Out among the woods and preserves, we empty a Palos Park family home gently, room by room, at the pace the family sets.
Estate Cleanouts in Palos Park, IL
Clearing the home of someone who has passed is heavy work, and it usually lands on a family member or executor already carrying a lot. Onit Junk Removal handles the physical part of an estate cleanout in Palos Park with patience and respect, so you can focus on everything else.
We coordinate around the details that come with settling an estate. We set aside heirlooms and personal items you want kept for heirs, work around an estate sale by clearing only what does not sell, and keep the pace that a probate timeline requires. If you are an out-of-state heir, we can manage the cleanout and keep you updated by phone.
Palos Park has many large, long-held family homes on wooded lots, places filled with decades of belongings. Whether the home sits near the Sag Valley preserves or off McCarthy Road, we treat it and everything in it with the discretion the situation deserves.
A Palos Park estate often sits on a wooded lot among the forest preserves, a quiet home full of decades of belongings. Regular curbside service here is not built for emptying an entire house at once. We clear room by room at the family's pace, set aside keepsakes and donations, and haul everything else away with the care the moment deserves, all in a single visit.
What We Handle in Palos Park
Executor coordination
We work directly with the executor or administrator and follow your instructions on what stays, what goes, and when.
Heirlooms set aside
Family items, photos, documents, and keepsakes are separated and preserved for heirs before anything is hauled.
After the estate sale
Once the sale wraps, we clear the unsold remainder so the house is empty and ready for its next chapter.
Probate timelines
We schedule around court dates and closing deadlines so the cleanout fits the pace probate demands.
Out-of-state heirs
Cannot be here in person? We manage the clearing and keep you posted so distance is not an obstacle.
Donation receipts
Usable furniture and goods go to charity, and we can provide donation documentation for the estate's records.
Handled with discretion and care
An estate cleanout is not just another haul-away job. There are memories in every room and often relatives with different wishes. We move slowly enough to get it right and keep quiet about what we see.
Before anything leaves, we walk the home with you and flag items that look like they carry value or sentiment. Nothing goes out the door until the family has had the chance to keep what matters.
Coordinating around the estate
Many families run an estate sale or auction first to sell off valuables. We come in after and remove only what did not sell, leaving the home broom-clean and ready to list or transfer.
If probate is still moving, we time the work to fit. There is no pressure to rush, and no leaving the house half-done. We finish on a schedule that works for the estate and the court.

Questions
Every estate is different, so we quote the price after seeing the home and the volume involved. There is no hourly rate and no charge until you approve the number. For a private, no-pressure estimate, call (815) 240-0735.
Yes, and we do it often. The estate sale sells the valuables, then we come through afterward to clear everything left behind. We coordinate dates directly so the two jobs hand off cleanly and the home ends up empty.
That is common with Palos Park estates, and we are set up for it. We can manage the entire cleanout on your behalf and keep you informed by phone and photo. You do not have to fly in to get the home cleared.
Carefully. We separate anything that looks like an heirloom, a document, or something with worth and hold it for the family to review. Nothing of that nature is thrown out. The final call on what stays always belongs to you.
We serve all of Palos Park and can usually begin within a few days of your call, sooner if a deadline requires it. A typical home takes one to two days depending on size. We will give you a realistic timeline once we see the property.
